2005… I arrived in the United States of America as one of many international students, wanting knowledge and the supposed power that comes with it. I had a plan; it was very simple: 4 years of undergrad then, medical school then, the world. Little did I know that navigating the great US of A higher education system was not all roses or as easy as it first seemed, don’t even get me started on immigration.

Seven years later, I’m still not yet in medical school but I’m a bit wiser and I like to think smarter.

The blog is exactly what it appears to be. An F1 international student writing about what it means to be an international student; from dos and don’ts, to current affairs, and some observations.
